Hi,
No EW doesn't have a sitemap feature that I know of.  But there are so many sitemap generators on the net why would you need it.  Try a google search.  And yes sitemaps help search engines know what you want them to go thru.

I'm assuming you are asking about a traditional site map.

Yes, a site map will help your SEO program.  Be sure to include link to it on each page.  A traditional site map also helps your visitors.  If a link to it is included on each page then visitors and search engine bots can easily find it.

If you were asking about Sitemaps (note how it has a captial S and the words are squished together).  This is a protocol some search engines use.  This type of Sitemap is different than a traditional site map.  It's an XML file.  You can learn more about the Sitemap protocol at http://www.sitemaps.org/  Please note, contary to all the hoopla that you must have this,

a) It is not necessary - I don't have Sitemaps on my sites and they are all indexed just fine.
b) None of the search engines guarantee that this is going to get your site indexed faster.  It is only a tool that helps them understand the structure of your site.
c)  If you do it wrong, you add work for yourself fixing it and getting your pages reincluded in the search engine indexes.

Sitemaps has many benefits, not only easier navigation and better visibility by search engines. Sitemaps offer the opportunity to inform search engines immediately about any changes on your site.

The sitemap is a place where the visitor can browse all the links on the site. This is the one-stop place to navigate the website as it is linked to all pages on the site.

Google has recently released a Sitemap Protocol, which will be used to 'supplement' the regular crawling process of GoogleBot, Google's search engine spider.

A site map is different from the Sitemaps protocol.  A site map is for humans and search engines that do not support the Sitemaps protocol.

Google did not release the Sitemaps protocol and they are not the only ones that support this protocol.   Sitemaps.org

Some SEO tips can be hard to explain, but this is one of the few that is relatively easy to do and can be done manually with small or large sites. Create a sitemap of your website. There are a few good reasons to do this.

It allows easier indexing of your site by the search engines.
In other words, it helps the search engines find all the pages on your site. Some websites only have a few of their pages in the search engines and this can be due to poor linking, sparse navigation or a host of other reasons. A sure-fire cure is to have a sitemap links to all of the major sections of your website. If you have a small website, linking to all the pages is a good idea. Web-crawlers will thank you for making their busy lives easier.

It provides PageRank or link popularity to all pages it links to.
If you read about SEO then you have read how important it is to have high-quality links pointing to your site from other sites. While this is true, don’t underestimate your own internal links  pointing to your own pages. A sitemap can become another source of quality links with descriptive text for your own pages.

Sitemaps help with usability and site navigation.
You website users can now access any important page on the site with only two clicks. This allows for deeply nested pages to be found easier and not just by the search engine spiders but by people visiting your site. Making navigation easier by including a sitemap is just good business sense as well as SEO sense.
